1) weigh out and rinse dahl/lentils.
2) add everything except tomatoes
3) add water 2-3cm over dahl
4) after boil, simmer 10 minutes then add diced tomatoes
5) reduce heat and simmer 10 more minutes
6) evenly divide into 10 single portion glass block containers or into 5 large double-portion containers.

Complete batch makes 10 servings. Use the above quantities, then after cooking, divide into 10 equal portions.
