1) Soak beans overnight.
2) Drain beans then cover add water till 3.5cm or 1.5 inch over top of beans.
3) Cook beans till tender .
4) Brown onions with olive oil and spices.
5) Add browned onions, chopped tomatoes, and all remaining ingredients into the beans and simmer for 10 minutes.
Makes twelve, 392 calorie servings. Divide into ten equal single portions or five equal double portions of 785 calories and refrigerate or freeze.

Complete batch makes 12 servings. Use the above quantities, then after cooking, divide into 12 equal portions.
